Beautiful Sopley Mill Wedding in Dorset - Lawes Photography - Bournemouth, Dorset & Hampshire Wedding Photographers

Amanda & Doug booked us for their wedding about 18 months ago, but it seems like just yesterday, I really can’t believe how fast time flies but here we are in June already! They loved our understated and relaxed approach which suited them both perfectly. They love flowers and decorated Sopley Mill with beautiful pastel flowers and delicate roses. Doug was keen to create a flower wall which we were thrilled about and together with lots of thought and hard work it was finally brought to life! We used the flower wall to shoot lots of beautiful and fun pictures during the day.

The day started quite overcast with a spell of rain in the afternoon but a lovely sunset in the evening. We work very hard indeed to make our images bright and beautiful regardless of the conditions, so a spell of rain does not faze us at all. We helped plan out the timings for the day taking great care to be sure everything worked on schedule (It’s a fact that as photographers we know more about weddings and wedding planning than anyone, and we use this experience to do our best to make sure everything works like clockwork for our clients). Many thanks to everyone who helped us during the day to create our work.

It’s hard to imagine but as I am writing this post (the day after their wedding) none of what you see now exists, it’s all cleared up and packed away. It’s why we love our job and why we think it’s one of the most important parts of your special day because without a great photographer, none of the images and memories below would exist. We’re now looking forward to creating their Wedding Story Book, it’s going to be beautiful, and I can’t wait to see their faces when they relive their day through our eyes.
