A Walled Garden at Cowdray Wedding
After months in the planning Nicola & Jack tied the knot at The Walled Garden at Cowdray. It’s a beautiful location in Midhurst, West Sussex and well worth a visit to look at the ruins and the beautiful gardens that have been restored.
Nicola had planned a rose themed floral wedding and she hit the nail on the head with beautiful flowers and delightful floral bridesmaids dresses. She finished off the spectacle with a stunning open back lace wedding dress.
Jack looked very handsome indeed in a grey weave 3 piece suit and rose pink tie. We caught up with him and his best man in the morning in time to see him open some special wedding day gifts.
The walled garden is beautiful, and the gardens borders were full of mature plants and set the stage for a truly chilled out summers afternoon. The catering was provided by the on site team of Jacaranda headed up by Event Manager Jen Jenco. We found JJ and his team a delight to work with and the catering and organisation was exemplary. JJ understands how to be the perfect host. It was a pleasure to see him in action making everything run smoothly and it was lovely being looked after so well on the day as it made our job so much easier.
There were so many special moments to capture during the day it’s simply impossible to count but for me the image to top them all is Jack’s stunned expression when he saw Nicola for the first time. He was truly speechless and pretty much had us all in tears including the registrars!
We covered the wedding as a story in images as well as our captured moments movie that I will be completing soon, but in the mean time here is a selection of our work from the day that can really only be told in pictures.
