Compton Acres The Italian Villa Wedding

It was a beautiful and bright morning when we set off for Abi & Steve’s wedding at the Italian Villa at Compton Acres. This was our second wedding at Compton Acres and, as always, we had some pretty good ideas about how we were going present their day to the world.

Compton Acres has beautiful gardens set in a pine covered valley overlooking Poole harbour. It’s a great place to visit even if you’re not getting married!  The couple’s ceremony was to be held inside the Italian Villa (which is situated inside the gardens) with drinks on the lawns in front of the villa after the wedding ceremony and they had also to booked our crazy fun booth in the evening!

We knew Abi & Steve pretty well after meeting them on a couple of occasions, one of which was their Love Shoot, so it was great to see Abi’s  face light up when we arrived for her bridal preparations.

Because the majority of the day was based around the gardens we thought it would be a great idea to take some of our bridal prep images in Abi’s family garden to tie the theme together. I remember being really excited about how cool they would look laid out in their story book!
