A Wedding at Old Alresford Place

It was a bright and sunny day for Michelle & Ryan’s wedding day. We were really looking forward to seeing them again and, of course, shooting at the beautiful Old Alresford Place which is near Winchester in Hampshire. The venue was new to us and so we were really looking forward to showing you all what it looks like with our style of photography.

So, first off, we met up with Michelle and her bridesmaids at the Hotel du Vin in Winchester for her bridal preparations. Then it was off to Old Alresford Place to catch up with Ryan for the church service and Wedding reception.
Ryan and his family & grooms men looked the part in their full scots regalia as they took their positions at the church ready for Michelle to arrive. We were glad to be given special permission by Vicar Bryce Fletcher to shoot in the Church from our chosen positions. Something that is not normally allowed. It’s a part of professionalism and personal conduct that we are very proud of and gives access to some very beautiful photos that are rare.

After a lovely ceremony and some family pictures at the church it was back to Old Alresford Place for an afternoon of partying! The catering was excellent with cute canapés and fiz on the lawn & it was lovely to see & listen to the beautiful sounds of Hannah Robinson & Scott McKeon of Laurel Canyon music.
We loved all the little personal touches Michelle & Ryan had organised, especially the thumb print wedding tree, supper large Polaroid photo frame and the wire M & R Initials.

Their story book is going to look amazing !
