A lake side wedding at Deans Court Wimborne

It was a wonderful treat to be asked to shoot Alex and Paul’s wedding at Deans Court.
Wimborne is just a stones throw away from us and Deans Court is a stunning venue for a relaxed but sophisticated garden wedding.
Alex and Paul did not want a traditional setting for their wedding and opted for an outside location under the huge oak trees and next to the lake in the grounds.
These guys are a pretty awesome couple they wanted their wedding to be relaxed and fun but still sophisticated, and that suits our style completely.
We loved everything about this wedding from the location at Deans Court with the wonderful flower arch and white folding chairs by the lake to the donkey rides for the children.
It could not have been a more perfect day. We can’t show you all the images because it would never load on the page but here are just a few… Alex & Paul’s wedding story…

About the photography.
You will see many images from our work that are shot from different vantage points. Often these are shot at the same point in time, this creates a narrative that is very much like watching a film This is why our work is often described as cinematic and film like rather than random photographs. For us creating pretty pictures is simply not enough, we aim to create stories with our photography and that’s why we also like to shoot captured moments as well as the essential planned group photos. Our captured moments and relaxed style is difficult to achieve and requires a huge amount of work on our part but we think it’s defiantly worth it. We believe it’s an investment that lasts a lifetime.
