A Beautifully Relaxed Stourhead Wedding
Jenny & Mark got married at the beautiful Stourhead Temple of Apollo. We were with them through bridal & groom preparations to the wedding breakfast. It was a beautiful relaxed day. It was such a joy to see their families joined together and to capture the moments of joy and emotions that we specialise in. These two are such kind and beautiful people it was a magical day that will never be forgotten. We’re starting work on their Story Book, it’s going to be so beautiful we just can’t wait to see it finished!
Here is a very small selection of images from the day a sneak peek at Jenny and Marks wedding story…
About the photography :-
Jenny & Mark found our work on the internet whilst looking for photographers for their wedding. They loved our relaxed and sophisticated documentary style and the fact that we produce beautiful Story Books to keep forever. They are a perfect match for us so, of course, we were looking forward to their wedding day. It’s hard to explain the amount of work and effort that goes into creating images like these. People will naturally assume a stiff and awkward pose when a photographer is around them, so learning how to create these effortless images has taken many years of practice.
However our work goes well beyond just relaxed natural poses and compositions. We’re also carefully crafting stories that we build into our beautiful coffee table books. This means that we shoot our weddings like a film director creates a film. We create compositions that not only capture truth & beauty but also put this into context often with expansive images as well as closeups and these are often planned in advance. That’s why when you look through our beautiful books its like being there all over again. This is one of the reasons why we plan out timings of the day and why we keep group line up pictures to an absolute minimum.
Unlike normal wedding photographers we want you to have precious moments to mingle with your guests, we don’t want you to spend the majority of your time in group line ups or having portraits created. Our style may not be for everyone and that’s fine but it’s the way we roll and it’s what makes our work unique.
