Rebecca and David’s wedding was our first time at Bradford on Avon and what a lovely picture postcard town! We could not believe the weather when we set off, torrential rain with flooding roads but at 11.00am the rain stopped, the clouds cleared and it was the most beautiful day until sunset.
After a beautiful wedding ceremony in the Holy Trinity Church, it was off to Cumberwell Park Golf Club for the wedding reception, just down the road, where they travelled in style in an old Rolls Royce reputed to be used by Winston Churchill!
With it’s small private garden ideal for the consumption of the drinks and canapés, large reception room with panoramic windows overlooking the grounds and, of course, the 36 hole golf course over which the sun set, it was a photographic dream.
I think my highlight of the day was the trip around the course in the golf buggies, all you could hear were the screams of laughter from Rebecca and Liz as we went off road over the furlong!
We finished of the day with some awesome night pictures and our Fun Booth which was just hilarious.
Many thanks to Rebecca and David who gave us a free rein and the team at Cumberwell Park who helped us with all our photographic escapades.
