Jo & Glen Wedding

We were so pleased to be asked by Jo and Glen to photograph their intimate wedding at the end of August.  It was nice to venture out of Dorset. The venue was a Great Hallingbury Manor near Bishops Stortford which really suited the relaxed theme they had to their wedding, which started with a small personal ceremony in the afternoon followed by a BBQ and party.

The gardens surrounding Great Hallingbury Manor were ideal for some great fun and portrait photographs and despite the day beginning with a slight drizzle, it soon cleared and the sun shone through for the photographs and the BBQ.

Jo and Glen were expecting their first baby and we thought it would be great to incorporate their joy of this new arrival into the pictures and decided that the “vintage” look would be ideal for their wedding album, so we packed not only our usual equipment  but also an old camera I had when I was first setting out in photography which we thought would add an element of fun to the pictures.

To round off the evening, Jo and Glen asked if we could set up our Fun Booth, so armed with our dressing up basket we set up some lights and let the imagination run wild!
